Yes, you can use mouthwash, but you must rinse the unit with clean water after each use. Do not use baking soda, salt or anything other than mild mouthwash. We usually recommend using warm water as it is sufficient and has been shown to be effective.

We recommend using a dental shower at least once a day to maintain good oral health.

If you are just starting to use a mouth shower, we recommend starting at the lowest pressure setting and slowly increasing it over time.
No. A mouth shower is used to clean between the teeth and around the gum line. It does not clean the surface of the teeth and brushing with a conventional toothbrush at least twice a day is still necessary to maintain good oral hygiene.
